The Jakarta International GI Endoscopy Symposium (JIGES) & Hands-on Endoscopy Workshop 2024 was held on January 17-18, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event featured two distinct workshops: a Basic Workshop, which included 46 internists and GI fellows as well as 11 nurses, and an Advanced Workshop, which comprised 33 internists and GI fellows along with 22 nurses. The Basic and Intermediate Workshop focused on fundamental endoscopy skills, while the Advanced Workshop offered more specialized training in advanced endoscopy techniques.
