Basic Endoscopy Skills Training (BEST) Taipei Workshop: Lower GI Course

The BEST Taipei Workshop: Lower GI Course was recently held last 29–30 November 2025—the first-ever BEST program in Taipei.

A total of 32 fellows underwent a structured Simulation-Based Mastery Learning (SBML) curriculum, covering essential lower GI therapeutic skills, including:

● Scope insertion, navigation, and delooping techniques

● Cold snare and hot snare polypectomy

● Clipping

● Dynamic submucosal injection

● Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)

International and local faculty guided participants through hands-on stations, providing expert coaching, standardized assessment, and real-time feedback to ensure competence and confidence.
