Dr. Patricia Anne (Sandy) I. Cabral-Prodigalidad is the Immediate Past President of the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy (PSDE). She is a Clinical Associate Professor of  Medicine and Active Consultant in Gastroenterology at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital. Dr. Cabral-Prodigalidad, is the current Head of the Section of Advanced Interventional Endoscopy Service of the Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases at the St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City, Philippines. Her interests include, among others, endoscopic resection techniques and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy.


She currently  leads as Chairman of both the Pancreaticobiliary Council of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology (PSG) and the Accreditation Committee of the Advanced Endoscopy (Pancreaticobiliary) Training Programs of the PSDE. Dr Cabral-Prodigalidad  is committed to promoting excellence in GI endoscopy in the Philippines, and has been instrumental in the development of the various Standards of Practice guidances of the PSDE, and the inclusion of Simulation-Based Endoscopy education in the joint PSG and PSDE Fellows’ Training Program core curriculum. She is an active member of the Faculty of the Academy of Endoscopy.
