Dr Hasan Maulahela is a consultant and assistant professor in Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital/University of Indonesia. Currently, he is the head of Integrated Advanced Endoscopy Center in RSCM Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. He finished his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship training in the University of Indonesia. He went for advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hyderabad India and Anam Hospital Korea University, South Korea. He also has been trained in APSDE Advanced Endoscopy Program at Kobe University, Japan. Currently, he is the Secretary-General for the Indonesian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and Endoscopy Advancement Committee in the Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE).
He is very active in teaching basic and advanced endoscopy in Indonesia. Recently, he became a member of the faculty for the Asia Pacific Society for Digestive Endoscopy (APSDE), the Asian EUS Group (AEG), and the Academy of Endoscopy (AOE).
