He is a SCOPE-certified professional by the World Obesity Federation. Currently, he serves as a director and chair of the Committee on Basic and Advanced Endoscopy Training of the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy. Together with the Academy of Endoscopy, Dr. Francisco has been actively involved in simulation-based endoscopy education for trainees both locally and internationally.
